Minutes
Clearwater Lib~ary Board
~fay 1970
The regularly scheduled meeting of the Clearwater Library Board was called to
order by Fred Korosy acting as chairman. Present were Korosy, Reis, Hasbrouck,
Moore, Reeves and Macdonald. Also present was Mrs. Norman representing the
Clearwater Junior Womants Club. Mr. Korosy appointed Dr. Macdonald acting Sec-
retary.
Statistical reports for April were distributed.
Mrs. Hasbrouck moved that our bylaws be rewritten so that among other things the
boards duties and responsibilities be clearly defined. Motion seconded by Mr.
Reeves and passed. Dr. Macdonald agreed to prepare a tentative draft of new by-
laws for discussion at the next meeting. It was understood that final bylaws
would have to be approved by both the library board and the city commission.
Mrs. Hasbrouck at the suggestion of Mr. Korosy agreed to study the rental library
situation and make a recommendation at the June meeting.
Mrs. Moore reported that there has been a problem getting Mrs. Howard and Mr.
Pinkney together for a meeting of the Edward Allen Henry Memorial Collection

Committee. Mr. Reis offered to help raise funds for their collection.
There ,being no further business meeting was adjourned at 2:45.
