Members Present: Chairman Coleman, Mrs. Hasbrouck, Mr. Killeffer, Mrs. Biggs,
Dr. Macdonald, ~Iiss Byers, Library Director, Mrs. H. Dubendorff - representing
Clearwater Juniot Woman's Club.
The meeting was called to order at 1:50 p.m. by Chairman Coleman who appointed
Dr. Macdonald secretary pro tem. The minutes of the October meeting were read
and accepted after an amendment suggested by Mrs. Biggs was approved. Her
amendment was to insert the world "by the club" after the words "to be used" in
the section dealing with the gift of $1.300.00 by the Junior Woman's Club.
This was to clarify the intent of the club to give something to the library in
,
this amount on the direction of the library board rather than give the cash
'.
directly.
Miss Byers reported on the status of tho search for additional librarians, on
the proposed building addition, and on the plans to purchase microfilm equip-
ment. No action of the board was required.
Mrs. Biggs moved that the rental collection be abolished. This motion was sec-
onded and carried with the provision that the city commission be questioned as
to possible objections.
The meeting adjourned at 3:10 p.m.
