In the absence of the Secretary, Mrs. Dorothy Akerman the Chainnan appointed

The October meeting of the Clearwater Library Board was held November 3, 1967
at the Main Library.
It was called to order by the Chairman, Rev. Robert Coleman at 1:55 p.m.
Those present were Rev. Coleman, Frances Filewicz, David Killeffer and the Li-
brarian, Miss Byers.
Frances Filewicz to serve as Secretary pro-tern.
Mrs. Filewicz moved that Mr. Killeffer be authorized to order ~he necessary
books for the Wickman Collection for a sum not to exceed $60.00, motion seconded
and carried.
Mr. Killeffcr moved that the Library Board recommends to the City Commission,
that the non-resident library card be raised from the present $2.00 to a suggested
figure o~ $5.00. Motion seconded and carried.
Miss Byers presented to the Board a proposed draft Class.
Definition in terms of:
1. Duties that are as to type and level
2. Typical tasks and assignments .
3. Minimum qualification requirements
The proposed draft is attached to the Minutes.
The members of the Board received the statistic reports of the libraries for
August. September and October.
~Ir. Killeffer moved that the Clean~ater Library Board invites the City Manager,
the Honorable ~tcrritt Stierheim to meet with the Library Board at a future meet-
ing to suit his convenience. ~Iotion seconded and carried.
December 1S, 1967 wus tho dote decided for the next meeting.
