The Clearwater Library Board met on Auguest 25, 1967. Present were members:
Coleman. Killeffer, Filewicz, Byers. and Akerman.
The minutes from last meeting were read and approved. Miss Byers told about
the budget for coming year which is under consideration by the city commis-
ioners. They are hoping to include expansion of the main library but ail de-
pends an maney.
The employee situation is much improved for this fall. A camera show foT.
summer is on display and well worth viewing if possible.
Mr. Killeffer told the board that Mrs. McGraw wants to donate a sailfish. which
is being mounted in Mexico. to the beach library. She has also offered to have
"Yachting and Naval Procedings" bound as a gift.
New classifications for library personnel will be presented to the Civil Service
Board. This should be suitable as to accademic standing and incorporated in the
new budget.
Statistics were distributed for June and July.
Since there was no new business for the board. the meeting adjourned at 2:40 PM.
The next regular meeting will be September 15. 1967.
