Miss Sarah Byers, Director
The Clearwater Library Board met October 29, 1965 at the main library. Present
were members:
Coleman, Williams, Killeffer,and Akerman
Minutes from previous meeting were read and approved.
David Killeffer was congratulated on receiving the 1965 "Civic Service Award"
from the Florida section of the American Chemical Society. This award was pre-
sented by Ray V. Lawrence, Chairman of the Florida Chapter.
The outside stairs of the main library were subject for much discussion as so
many older people are unable to use the library. A suggestion was made by the
Secretary of the Chamber of Commerce that a book drop could be contrived for
use in returning books.
The meeting adjourned at 3:00 P ~f; the next regular meeting will be November
19, 1965.
