The Clearwater Library Board met March 5, 1965 at the main library. Present
were members:
Coleman, Filewica, Killeffer, Williams and Akerman.
A eheck was received from Friends of the Library in the amount of one thousand
nine hundred thirty-four dollars (1934). This money was donated for the Wickman
Memorial.
A motion was made by Mrs. Filewicz .to pay for new and used books purchased from
the Clearwater lofarine Sales - - - $ 24.45 and Has lam f 5 of St. Petersburg -
- - - - - - $179.90. This motion was seconded and checks were issued to
cover these editions.
Mr. Killeffer spoke of how cooperative the Power Swuadron and Auxilary had been,
and he expressed hope that similar collections of interest could be promoted and
have space ill the area under the main' library when it is finished.
This hope was discussed in general and at length. There is much enthusiasm and
anticipation that these plans can be resolved in the very near future.
The date for the next regular meeting falls on April 16 and the board unanimously
agreed to change the time to April 30.
The meeting adjourned at 2:50.
