'South Bend, Indiana Dear Mr. Pavey: ,\ We are indeed very grateful for your gift of books, which we collected this morning, through the kindness of Mrs. Paxton. Many of these we needed, but could not afford to buy., The few which are duplicates, we shall pass on to other needy libraries; you may rest assured that each one will be well used. Will you please convey our grateful thanks also to Annette for the books for children which we need even more than those for adults. (we have now almost one thousand children registered here as borrowers, so you see we need lots of books to supply them with reading matter). , . , Again expressing our appreciation of your thoughtfulness in giving us this fine collection. We are, Yours sincerely. Clearwater Public Library Mrs. T. O. Owen Librarian '"--",, [OCA( HISTORY ,COllECTION ~ I.
