Will you allow us through the medium of The Sun to thank all who helped make such a wonderful success of the efforts of the Women's organization last Saturday, to obtain funds for the purchase of children's books for the Clear- water Public Library? Our special thanks are due to the very competent chairman, Mrs. E. J. Phillips, and her efficient committee who worked so wholeheartedly and untir- ingly; the donors of the various prizes, cakes, etc.; also to the public who so generously responded, and the different organizations whose cooperation meant so much. The sum obtained was very gratifying and will enable the youngsters to have quite a few new good books in their department. Not the least of the beneficial results of the effort is the bringing of the needs of the library, which still are many, to the attention of other generous benefactors. Last but :not least we wish to thank The Sun once more for the generous publicity which is always given to the library. Taver Bayly, President. Mrs. H. P. Aiken. A. T. Cornwell. J. Herbert Paxton. H.
