'. .-o' ' f~:~t ~ ,". . ~ CLEARWATER PUBLIC LIBRARY o Clearwater Florida CONSTANCE Cl~SE Librarian November 9th 1920 The Library Board held its regular monthly meeting at the Library with Pres- ident Hagadorn, Mrs Harrison, Mr. Bayly, and Mr. Hollins present. Minutes of the preceeding meeting were read and approved. Motion by Mr. Bayly, seconded by Mrs. Harrison that Miss Moase be made Sec- retary. Resolution offered by Mr. Bayly seconded by Mrs. W. T. Harrison that the action of the monority of directors in appointing Miss Grace Moase as Librarian at a salary of fifty dollars per month be and is here by approved by the board. Moved by Mr. Bayly, seconded by Mrs. Harrison that the president be auth- orized to employ such assistance for the librarian as he may find needed at a total cost, not to exceed fifty dollars for the fall and winter season. Resolution was adopted that a letter of sincere thanks from the Board to Miss Williams of St. Petersburg for the able and kindly help given us when required to make a sudden change of librarian, and that a copy of this letter be sent to the Clearwater Sun, the St. Petersburg Times and Evening Independent. The question of janitor discussed and Mr. Bayly thought he would be able to obtain one. The request of Miss Bigger for supplementary books for the school taken up and decided not practical for the Library to put in this line of books at present. Books loaned for school work granted two weeks time. Motion by Mr. Bayly seconded by Mr. Hollins to ratify all bills paid by the "-- / president to the present time.
