March 18, 1918 The Library Board held its regular meeting in the Library, with Mr. Bayly as chairman, Mrs. Aiken, Mr. Hollins and Mr. Hagadorn present. Minutes of the previous meeting read and approved.. The following bills were ordered paid from first funds available: Clearwater Supply Co. 2.90 Clearwater Sun 13.25 Clearwater Lighting Co. 7.60 Arthur Davies 6.00 Clearwater Novelty Works 1.00 Variety Store 25.35 Moved and seconded that people without the city limits of Clearwater, but in its connnunity, also temporary residents of Clearwater, may have the free use of the Library books, provided their application card be signed by their merchant or deposit of two dollars be made. Motion made and carried to put a telephone in the library, using the remainder of the fund given by Mrs. Aiken and the rest of the first year!s bill to be paid by donation.
