Meeting called to order at 7:30 p.m. Members present Messrs Hagadorn, Wright,
Bayly, Hollins and Mrs. Aiken. Minutes of the last meeting read and approved.
Section B of the City Ordinance No. 154 was then read by the President and was
followed by a duscussion of the appointment of Advisory Committee according to
the said section 8. The President then appointed as such Advisory Committee
the following: Chas. H. Evans, Mrs. R. C. Lake and Mrs. E. L. Pearce. The
appointment was then confirmed by the Board on motion.
Then followed a discussion of the plans as drawn by F. J. Kennard architect,
and Mr. Hollins was instructed to communicate with Mr. Kennard regarding
specifications and further detail relating to the plans submitted.
The matter of purchase of new books was then taken up and the President appointed
Mrs. Aiken, Mrs. Parker and Mr. Hollins to confer with the Librarian regarding
a list of new books to be bought.
It was then decided to elect a Treasurer for the Board, moved by Mr. Wright
that Taver Bayly be elected treasurer, motion seconded and carried. It was then
moved and seconded that the Treasurer be authorized to draw checks, same to be
countersigned by the President of the Board.
There being no further business the meeting adjourned on motion.
