September 28th 1915
Meeting called to order at half past seven. All members of the Board were
present. The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved. The corres-
pondence was then read and bill presented and ordered paid.
Mr. Hollins then reported regarding the financing of the library lot. Discussion
then followed as to the purchasing of the Jeffords lot instead of the Padgett
lot. Mr~ Hollins was then authorized by the Board to take up the matter with
Mr. Jefford and Mrs. Padgett.
There followed a discussion regarding a librarian, it being suggested that Miss
Margaret Duncan be employed as librarian under the old Board until December 1st
or January 1st at a salary of $30.00 a month and that she be recommended for
employment by the new Board at $50.00 a month. It was moved by Mr. Rollins,
seconded by Mr. Bayly that Miss D\\ncan be employed conditionally by the new
Board as Librarian this winter. Motion carried.
There being no further business before the Board the meeting adjourned on motion.
