Lake Mrs. W. R. Stenger Mrs. E. L. Pearce Mr. Delisle Hagadorn Mr. Chas. 11. Evans Mr. E. P. S. Wright Minutes of previous meetings dispensed with no objection being opened. Report of nominating committee (Mr. Wright-Mrs. Aiken-Mrs. Pearce;) was heard- the following directors nominated and unamiously elected: Mrs. Lake Mrs. Aiken Mrs. Pearce Mrs. Stenger Mr. Hagadorn Mr. Jones Mr. Wright Reports of President was read, accepted and ordered filed (here to annexed)., Report of Treasurer was read, accepted and ordered filed (here to annexed}. The following resolution was offered by Mr. Wright and, where as - the Mayor and council of our city have secured from the Carnegie foundation a donation of $10,000 for the erection of a free library conditioned on its proper maintainence MM HISTORY WLLECTI ON e i Apr --12 - 1915 Page 2 •w? as prescribed and whereas - the action of said ways and Council, as to maititainance and is'subject to ratification by popular vote May - 11- 1915 - be it resolved in ca case of,such ratification by popular vote that all of the books, shelves and effects of all kinds belonging to the Clearwater Library.Assn.. shall be transferred to and become the property of the City of Clearwater -- on motion was unanimously adopted. on motion meeting adjourned. 'WOM TIISTOKY , MLLECTION Meeting of Directors - Clearwater Library Assn. Apr 12 - 1915 The following officers were nonimated and unanimously elected - President - DeLisle Hagadorn Vice - E. P. S. Wright Secty. - Taver Bayly Treas. -- Chas. H. Evans On motion of Mrs. Aiken the following resolution unanimously adopted. Resolved -- that a committee of five consisting of. Mr. E. P. S. Wright, Chairman Mrs, Herbert Aiken Mr. Taver Bayly Mr. DeLisle Hagadorn Mr. Chas. H. Evans be appointed with full power to select a lot or lots on which to erect the library building, to arrange for same so that a clear deed may be given to the City before Aug. lst,'..to solicit and receive subscriptions for the property, to select a suitable plan for the library building and to act in all ways for the prompt furtherance of this business - On motion of Mrs. Aiken a committee of Mr. Taver Bayly Mrs. Hagadorn Mrs. Harrison was appointed to take charge of and-see that the library quarters are maintained in proper condition.
