Directors meeting was held Tuesday afternoon April the 2nd for the purpose of
appointing the standing committees, etc.
Committees were appointed as follows: Executive Committeet - Mrs. Wright,
Mr. Evans. Mr. Bivins.
Membership Committee: - Mrs. ~lendenhall, Mrs. Watkins, Mrs. Swoyer, Mrs Parker.
Entertainment Committee: - Mrs. Pearce, Mrs. Dickenson, Miss Rogers, Miss Lake.
The executive committee was given power to act in the purchase of desk and
new book cases when they considered this equipment needed.

The treasurer. instructed to pay for the work tables (amount $S.50)
The librarian was instructed to order the following periodicals for the
ensuing year: Outlook, Life, McClures, American Outing, National Geographic,
American Boy, New York Times (daily), St. Nicholas, Literary Digest, Currant
Literature, Youth's Companion, Scientific American, Atlantic ~Ionthly, Century,
Sanborn's, Harper's, Cosmopolitan, Ladies Home Journal, Every Lady's.
Secretary instructed to send vote of thanks to Mrs. Kerr for cabinet of
shells.
The President was authorized to appoint at his discretion, a special
committee to consider the matter of securing a lot for library building site,
and beginning a building fund.
