COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY Minutes september 15, 1994 The city commission, meeting as the Community Redeve lopment Agency, met in a special public hearing session for purposes of presenting the proposed 1994-95 CRA Budget at city Hall, Thursday, September 15, 1994 at 5:30 pm, with the following members present: Arthur X. Deegan, II Sue Berfield Richard Fitzgerald Rita Garvey Fred Thomas Chairperson Vice-Chairperson Trustee Trustee Trustee Also Present: Betty Deptula Peter Gozza Richard Hull Jacquie DeGroy David Stone Elise winters Phil Henderson city Manager Executive Director Asst. city Attorney Recording secretary Ex-officio Trustee Ex-officio Trustee Chamber of Commerce Absent: 2. unfinished Business CRA 1994-95 Proposed Budget Peter Gozza reviewed the proposed 1994-95 eRA operating budget (a copy of which is attached and hereby made a part of these minutes), emphasizing that the administrative expenses included all operating expenses for the department. Mr. Gozza explained that "Debt Service Requirements" represents a percentage of revenue that ,is set aside to service the debt on two bonds that were issued . in the mid 80's for debt consolidation, purchase of property and a parking structure. Tax increment trend is downward: . , 1990 - $725,880 1991 = $736,449 1992 - $548,560 1993 - $548,257 1994 - $445,193 1995 - $322,119 (Projected) Mr. Gozza pointed out that 224,683 square feet has either been leased or sold in CRA district since 10/93, so the tax September 15, 1994 'CRA .
