Walker. Joseph Straub E.. Blanton, -Secretary Absent: Forrest Dean John Logan C ?4 1 Meeting adjourned at 2:30 P.M. E. Blanton, Secretary ! Meeting called to order by Chairman Batstone at 2:00 P.M. Mr. Charles OzNeil of Rutenberg homes, was present to represent Mr. and Mrs. John P. Barrett, Sr. of Bethesda, Maryland, who propose to'build' a single family home on Lot #49, Unit 7C, Island Estates, Clearwater Beach, a/k/a 86-7 Harbor Isle., The first floor of the proposed structure would be three feet below the 100-year flood level, to effect a finished floor-height of nine feet above the•mean high tide line. If the 3-feet variance would be granted, the home would esthetically blend in with the,existing neighborhood. Mr.'OfNeil was asked'as to whether or not the Barrett's had been advised of the cost of flood insurance which would be necessary, and he advised they were aware of-the cost and were agreeable. There being no further discussion, motion was made by Mr. Walker the 3-ft. variance be granted. Seconded by Mr. Straub. Motion carried and appeal granted.
