Walker E• Blanton, -Secretary Forrest Dean - Absent Meeting called at 2:00 P.M. for the purpose of hearing appeal for variance f'or Mr. & Mrs. Ward Rodgers, 1318 Moreland Dr., Clearwater,'Florida. They., 'were.represented by Mr. C.H. Schoondexwoerd of Rutenberg-Homes. Description of Fr_qperty: Lot43i, Section 7C,'Island Estates, Clearwater, Florida, also known as ! 763 Harbor Island, Clearwater, Florida. Nature of Request: To have a finished floor level of ten-feet above sea level which. would be two feet below the requirement of•the Federal Flood Insurance Act. Since this is an isolated lot (residences on bath sides) it was felt that it would be a hardship to go to 12` flood elevation and would create a run-off water problem for the neighbors. The Board felt it would be in the best interest of 'the neighborhood to grant the variance. Motion was made by Mr. Logan that the 10-ft. el•evation.be approved instead ` of the required 12-ft.
