Yegge represented himself in his request of a variance of 2-ft. for the property located at Lot 34, Unit 8, Island Estates, A/K/A 807 Island Way., At the time the application was submitted, Mr. Yegge was agreeable to the 12-ft. flood level, but then realized the slab would-be up to his neighbor's windows, thus creating an unsightly situation. The house on the north of Mr. Yegge's lot is at 8k ft. and the home being built to the south is at 10-ft. With the requested 2-ft, variance, the slab level will be approximately 8k ft. He also stated he will fence and . . gutter his property so that no drainage will go onto his neighbor's property to the north. Snap-shots of structures,on either side of the property were passed around to the Board members and after a brief discussion, the motion was made by Mr. Logan, seconded by Mr. Dean the 2-ft, variance be granted. Motion carried unanimously, Mr. Yegge was instructed to initial the plans submitted to agree with this, 2-ft. variance, rather than the 3-ft, variance originally requested, Meeting adjourned at 11:30 A.M.
