AMENDMENT TO
CITY MANAGER EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT
THIS AMENDMENT TO CITY MANAGER EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT is entered into this
18r~day of October, 1990, by and between the CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
a municipal corporation (the "City"), and RONALD H. RABUN (the "Employee").
WHEREAS, the City and the Employee entered into a City Manager Employment
Agreement dated March 24, 1988 (the "Agreement"); and
WHEREAS, during the public meeting of October 18, 1990, the City proposed
to amend the terms and conditions of the Agreement as set forth herein, and the
Employee has agreed to such amendments; now, therefore,
IN CONSIDERATION of the mutual covenants herein contained, the parties
agree as follows:
1. In Section 3A of the Agreement, in the introductory sentence and in
Paragraph 2, "three (3) months' aggregate sa lary" is changed to "four (4) months'
aggregate salary."
2. In Section 4A of the Agreement, the annual base salary is amended
to $80,110, payable in bi-weekly installments beginning October 1, 1990.
3. In Section 4B of the Agreement, the sentence is amended to read:
"City agrees to conduct a review of the Employee's performance, salary, and
benefits in September ~~ril of each year. The effective date of any chanaes made
pursuant to City Commission action relatina to salary and other benefits shall
be effective as of October 1 of each Year.
4. The amendments to the Agreement set forth herein shall take effect
as of October 1, 1990. Except as specifically amended herein, all other terms
and conditions of the Agreement shall remain in full force and effect.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties have caused this Amendment to be executed
on the date first set forth above.
