Also, the Financial Report for Glen Oaks Golf Course for the month of Octobe,r was presented, as well as the September Financial Report which included the close of the fiscal year. Mr. Moore reported on the recreation charges as discussed previously with the City commission and the institution of a $10.00 non-resident charge by the City Commission: said fee effective January 1, 1975 through December 31, 1975. Payment of this non-resident charge will provide the non-resident the same status,' as a City resident. l'1e will revi.ew receipts from this fee approximately April 1, 1975. The Board was presented copies of the capital Improvement 'program as approved by the City commission at its last meeting. Also discussed were ~le dates for projects and the C.I.P. calendar as presented by ,the Engineering Department. After lengthy dis- cussion, the Board agreed unanimously they were dissatisfied with relegation of the softball complex to a "wait and seell attitude to determine if Committee Development Funds are available. They are particularly concerned that the city Commission apparently has failed to recognize the priorities recomnlended by the Board and are ready to discuss this with theCity Commission at any time. A softball complex will serve approximately 1,000 individuals per night, as'participan~s or spectators. 14r. Moore presented a memo from City Manager picot Floyd indicating the Industrial Park Pr.operty could be sold and funds accuring from said sale has been approved by the city Commission to purchase or obtain properties for a softball complex. 4 "', , .'
