,', .~alled to order at 9:30 a.m. by Chairman, Frank Krame, at the City
Hall Annex, Clearwater, Florida.
Members of the committee in attendance were: Messr: Frank Krame,
D.C. Snoyenbos, James Short, Arthur Kruse, Lester Dicus, Albert Price,
Mrs. Juanita Anderson and Mrs. Phyllis Phillips. Also in attendance
were Mr. Bill Voght, Mr. Pat Tracy and Mr. B. Panush. Mr. Scneidcman
and Mrs. Sciarra were absent.

Minutes were approved as sent.
In response to the letter sent from the Committee to the city
Manager regarding the pier at Edgewater Drive, grading of piles of
sand ~n the causeway and the rip rap at Edgewater Drive, Mr. Max
Battle contacted chairman Krame and gave him the following report:
1. Rock has been ordered for Edgewater drive to fill in
areas to prevent erosion. This should be completed
in two weeks.

2. The piles of sand and dirt on the causeway will be
knocked down and graded.

.." , Mr. Battle also stated that work ha s begun to fill in the pool at the'
::,'", ",'Youth Maritime Center. This will be sodded after work is complete.

The fishing pier has not been removed.

': , Mrs. Anderson reported she had attended a' meeting of the Edge-
water Drive Association. The members are unhappy about the condition
: at the end'of Seedeva, Granada and Charles Streets. Mrs. Anderson also
had,been informed that trucks had been seen taking iron rods and fill
'away from the area. Discussion followed concerning the erosion at that
,~~ri~c~lar ar~a. .
.' ,Chairman Krame has been in contact with Percy Powell from the down-
,'town 'Businessmen' s Association. It was noted Dervish Bros. and a shoe
store on Cleveland Street have made store front improvements. Mr. Krame
'was ,contacted by Brs. Ann Weathers who, asked that the benches in Clean'later
'be'painted orange. It was stated the Chamber of Commerce had agreed not
to place benches with advertising except at. bus stops. Mrs. Phillips
'suggested publicity be given to those merchants who had improved their
'store fronts.

;,' Crest.Lake Beautification Project. A motion was made by Mr. Dicus,
:.'.' seconded by 'Mrs. Phillips, carried, a letter be sent to the city
" commission recommending beautification of Crest Lake be continued rather
