Following a discussion concerning the berms at Crest Lake,
Mr~,Voght reiterated his previous comments that the best course of
'action would be to wait until suitable sod was available rather
than plant rye grass at this time of year.
'.;-.
Chairman Krame reported he was invited to attend a meeting
at which several plans for the Bayfront were displayed. These
plans, drawn by students of architecture at Gainesville, do not
include an auditorium. Because the Commission seems to be near
a decision on plans for the Bayfront, Mr. panush made a recommend-
ationa, letter be sent to the City Manager requesting a present-
ation to the members of the Beautification Committee concerning
the proposed plans the commission may be considering. A recommend-
ation was also made that any plans concerning the beautification
of the City be presented to the Committee for its comments.
