EDGEWATER DRIVE
Mr. Krame said he bad a discussion with Mr. Paroby who is doing all he can to get
rip rap and large stones placed at Edgewater Drive. Mr. Rogers showed polaroid pictures
taken that morning of the Pierce Street Loop and questioned how fast that area was
developed in comparison to Edgewater Drive.
Mrs. Anderson said the Board Meeting for the Edgewater Drive Association ~ill be
held soon and the Mayor and Commissioners have been invited.
Mr. Whitton said he had noticed a lack of water as there are many brown areas.
Perhaps the high winds have kept the automatic sprinklers from working properly.
Mr. Rogers asked far a letter to take. with him to the Realtors Meecing next week
regarding the design of a sign and how their donation of $500 could be used toward
its purchase.
'CLF..ARt-TATER. BEACH AREA
The elongated planters for the Mandalay Beacn area were discussed as well as angle
, parking with spaces for beautification_ Mr. Krame read a letter from Mr. Paroby who
stated he must have a recommendation from our Committee with a specific design plan.
including costs and specific location oefore a recommendation can be made to the City
Manager and City Commission. Perhaps the Beach Association might contribute some of
the funding toward the sign. but first it would be necessary to determine 1) what
you want sign to say, 2) where it is to be placed and 3) how much it would cost. We
;should have both design and approximate cost.
, CREST LAKE
There are large holes at Crest Lake where the roses have been removed covered with
piles of sand that look terrible. Crest Lake restoration should remedy this which is
due to start shortly.

shrubs, plants and trees best suited to C1earwaterrs cl~ate and soil? II There is no
