The meeting was called to order at 9:39 A.M.
Glenn Perry moved to approve the minutes of the meeting of March t. 1989. The motion was
duly seconded by Tom Pudelski and carried unanimously.
Jomes Ford, Police Department, submitted 'new letters from Dr. Sola and Dr. Haley. Both
doctors have not changed their previous opinions that Mr. Ford is disabled and should not
continue working as a Senior Identification Technician. No action can be taken since
Mr. Nicholson was absent.
Glenn Perry moved that this be carried until the meeting of April 5. 1989. since no vote can be
taken on disability pensions without all Committee members present. The motion was duly
seconded by Tom Pudelski and carried unanimously.
No action was taken on adopting the guidelines for approving diability pensions or the
revisions of the general guidelines. for the Committee since Mr. Nicholson was not present.
This will be carried until the next meeting when the Committee will discuss these issues if all
members are present.

The Committee considered the request of Ernest J. Dowling, Police Lleutenantt for a
pension ,based on years of service. Glenn Pcrry moved to grant this pension to Mr. Dowling.
The motion was duly seconded by Tom Pudelski and carricd unanimously. ·
Glenn Perry asked that agendas be sent out a few days prior to the meeting so aU interested
parties will, know what will be discussed. He would also like the appointment of a nominating,
committee, for the upcoming election to be listed on the next agenda.
, : Glenn Perry moved the meeting be adjourned. The motion was duly seconded by
T~m Pudelski and carried unanimously. The meeting adjourned at 9:43 A.M.
