The meeting was called to order at 9:37 A.M.
Glenn Perry moved to approve the minutes of the meeting of October 5, 1988. The motion
W3S duly seconded by Tom Pudelski and carried unanimously.

. Glenn Perry moved 10 accept into membership the five (5) employees listed above. The
motion was duly seconded by Tom Pudelski and carried unanimously.
Tom Pudelski addressed the issue of the retirement date for Officer Babini who was granted a
job-connected disability pension by the Committee. Mr. Pudelski spoke with Officer Babini.
He ,,was informed by Officer Babini that Chief Klein advised him not to set a retirement dnte
at this time \qhile efforts are made to keep him employed.

Several options were explored concerning the possibility of keeping Officer Babini actively
employed while receiving a disability pension.
Glenn Perry moved to postpone any action on Officer Babini until at least the neJt.t meeting.
The 'motion was duly seconded by Tom Pudolski and carried unanimously.

Tom Pudelski moved to accept into membership the eleven (11) employees listed above. The motion
was duly seconded by Glenn Pcrry and carried unanimously.
Tom Pudelski stated he had an apointment to meet with City Manager Ron Rabun regarding Dennis
. , Babini. He was notified by Mr. Rabunls office that the meeting was canceled and was asked to take
no action on this matter until Mr. Rabun gets back to the Committee since Mr. Rabun is working
on this situation. .
The Committee, considered the request of James J. Weber for a retirement pension based on years of
service. Tom Pudelski moved to approve the pension for Mr. Weber. The motion was duly seconded
by,: Glenn Perry and carried unanimously.
Tom Pudclski moved the meeting be adjourned. The motion was duly seconded by Glenn Perry and
. carried unanimously. The meeting adjourned at 9:41 A.M.
