The meeting was call cd to order at 9:33 A.M.
John Nicholson moved to approve the minutes of the meeting of June 29, 1987~ The motion was
duly seconded by Michael Stuart and carried unanimously.

'With regard to John Welch.' Secretary Laursen staled he was informed by Cary Singletary's
secretary that Mr. Welch's two doctors have the same mailing address but arc not associated in the
same: practice. Nothing has been received from Mr. Singletary to this effect. Until it is. no dates
and ,times can be set for his hearing.

Chairman Dunn stated Mr. Dean may hire an attorney who deals with pensions in order to get a

The Committee again, considered the request of Dennis Brown. Firefighter, for a job-connected
disability pension due to a back injury. Richard Griesinger. attorney for Mr. Brown. presented to
the Committee the letter from Dr. Hanff as requested at the last meeting.
