The meeting was opened at 9:46 a.m.
John Nicholson read the names of the following employees to be approved for membership
in the Pension Fund:

The Committee approved the above employees unanimously.
The Committee waived the approval of the minutes of the last meeting.
Secretary Laursen presented the Committee with letters regarding Willie Billups'
request for a non-job connecteddEability pension. The letters from the two doctors
were not acceptable to the Committee. Mr. Billups must subluit two letters from
medical doctors stating he, ,is permanently disabled. Upon receipt of the letters. the
Committee will approve the request.
John Nicholson asked Barbara Weston about the Pension Advisory Committee election.
She stated there are presently three nominees: Carole Greiner, Central Services;
Wayman Pearson, Sanitation; and Richard Sheldon, Water Pollution Control. The dead-
line for nominations is April 22nd.
Barbara Weston informed the Committee that Tina Wilson will start on April 7th as the
new Payroll Services Manager.
John Nicholson informed the Committee of what transpired at the recent Pension Rewrite
Committee meeting. The Committee once again discussed raising 1) the minimum amount
of 'the pension and 2) the age for dependent children to 22 or 23 if they are in school.
The next meeting will be held on April 24. 1986.
Since David Krieger is unable to attend these m~etings of the Pension Rewrite Cammitte~.
he asked that John Nicholson see that he receives a copy of the minutes of these meetings.
John Nicholson stated the Pension Rewrite Committee discussed the age limit of 45 years.
