Motion seconded by John Nicholson and motion carried.
Bob Ellis. Risk Manager and Safety Officer discussed with the Committee the use of
physical form supplied by Doctor's Walk-In Clinic at Countryside. He advised
the Co~ittee that he would' like to use their form since it it possible that the
Walk-In Clinic contract may be renewed next year for a period of three years and
if they do a satisfactory job, possibly for six years. After discussion,
Charles Dunn moved that the Committee approve the use of this form. Seconded by
John Nicholson and motion carried.
Chairman Dunn asked Mr. Ellis to inform the Walk-In Clinic that they would like explicit
information on the physical forms so that the Comnlittee can decide whether or not they
ar~ eligible for pension.
'Mr. Ellis stated the Clinic would like the Committee to advise them just what is
meant 'by "Eligible for Hire" .and 'Eligible for Pension.: Committee stated Mr. Ellis
should explain to them that possihly a new employee might be able to do a desk
job but 'not physically able to do a manual job. Each applicant may be different so
there cannot be a set rule.

Procoedings or Pension Advisory Committee Meeting
December lB. 19B5
v
Chairman said he will check with Carole Greiner to see of the new form is made
up ~or people retiring under pension.
Secrotary Laursen advised the Committee that Mr. Weime~ had received a call from
John Skates, Regional Representative of CWA indicating that it was not the, intent
.of the'Arb1trator in their decision on Steve Zimmerman that he be required to
have another physical. Mr. Weimer will advise Mr. Skates that the reason
Mr. Zimmerman was required to have another physical was because he had withdrawn
his monies from the pension fund, did not intend to pay the money back, and
therefore. had to start as a new employee.

There being no 'further business, meeting adjourned.
