" ........~/,. , David Krieger read the names of the following employees to be accepted into pension: Name & Classification Cleven Wyatt, Sanitation Driver II Catherine Brotzman, Librarian II John Seeboda, Marine Attendant II Caleb Winston. Maint. Worker I Christopher Tomczak , Traffic Sign & Marking Tech. Anthony Rizzo, Police Officer Barbara Taggart, Clerk Typist II Department/Division Utilities/Sanitation {.ibraries Marine Parks & Recreation Traffic Engineering Seniority Date 2-26-74 9- 3-85 7-18-85 11-23-81 8-30-85 Date Pension Effective 10-10-80 9- 3-85 8- 6-85 8- 6-84 8-30-85 Police Public Works/Engineering 9- 3-85 8-26-85 9- 3-85 8-26-85 Charles Dunn moved the above employees be accepted into pension. Seconded by John Nicholson and motion carried unanimously. Chairman Dunn advised Committee he had received an additional letter from the doctor on Mike Goodell giving the information requested by the Committee. Chairman Dunn stated that with this letter and the other letters received from the doctors, he would vote yes', for the non-job connected disability pension. John Nicholson seconded' the motion and David Krieger also voted in favor of the motion. ~1otion passed unanimously. Secretary Laursen will advise Richard Griesinger, Attorney for Mike Goodell that the pension has been approved by the Committee. Dan Deignan, Finance Director. passed out copies of information regarding the Custodian and Investment Advisor for the pension fund. He advised that when the current Custodian was bought out by NCNB of Charlotte, they immediately started experiencing problems and they have grown to the point where it is felt a change has to be made. They came to the Pension Advisory Committee and the Commission and requested permission to go out for bids. They have gone through that process and are recommending that the low bidder be accepted in both cases - for Custodian and Investment Advisor. They are asking the City Commission (Trustees) to approve them at the next Commission meeting. Chairman Dunn asked that the record, show that the Pension Advisory Committee backs Finance Director Dan Degnan's suggestions on taking Sun Bank n~\Custodian and Florida National Bank as Investment Buyers. Seconded by John Nicholson and motion passed unanimously. Committee discussed attending a Seminar on pensions to be held in Tampa on the IBthand 19th of September. Chairman is to contact Mr. Weimer to see if the three Committee memrers could attend. Carole Greiner is also going to the Seminar. Carole Greiner asked. Chairman Dunn if he planned to make up Agendas for the meetings. Chafrman agreed that in the future, he would make up Agendas for the meetings. There being no further business, meeting adjourned.
