Laursen, Personnel Jane Craig, II Carole Greiner, Finance Nancy Degner, City Nurse Anthony Wilhelmi, CWA Representative Cary Singletary, Attorney Jay Love, Member / //' Chairman Zukowski called' meeting to order. ;,: ': Charles Dunn moved the minutes be approved'., Seconded by Claude Zukowski and motion carried. Chairman Zukowski advised the Committee that he had received a request from Jack Katchuk for an on the job disability pension. He also had letters from three doctors recommending 'that he be put on job connected disability pension. , Charles Dunn moved that Officer Katchuk be approved for on the job disability pension. Seconded by Claude Zukowski and motion carried. Chairman stated he had' received' a letter from Dr. Osher, the doctor Mr. Noonan was referred to oy the City Nurse~ stating Mr. Noonan was capable of, performing all the quties of his job~ Claud~ Zukowski moved that Mr., Noonan be denied pension based on the information received from Dr. Osher~ Seconded by Charles Dunn and motion carried. Claude Zukowski moved that the following employees be accepted for pension: Seniority Date 5-13-85 l?- 6-85 5-29-85 10- "7":'82 Date Pension Effective 5-13-85 6- 6-85 5-29-85 1- 5-85 Name & Classification Stephen Lawson. Budget Analyst Charles Jones. Energy Technician Timothy Bartlett, Equipment Operator I Steven L. Grasso,' Marine Attdt. II Department/Division Finance Central Services Parks & Recreation Marine Motion seconded by Charles Dunn and carried. Claude Zukowski moved that the following employees be rejected for pension based on the 'recommendation of the City physician: Public Works/Pub. Servo Parks & Recreation Frank Youmans, Maintenance Worker II ,Ruby Jackson, Recreation Assistant Motion seconded by Charles DU1Ul and carried. Claude Zukowski moved that Dale Carmichael be sent for a re-examination (an X-ray of hi~ back). Seconded by Charles Dunn and motion carried. The committee felt he should have an X-ray as Mr. Carmichael had stated on his physical form that he had a weak back. Committee thanked Carole Greiner for all the time and effort she had spent in putting '. Pension Advisory Committee Mee.ting June lIt 1985 2 - together the booklet of legal opinions. Carole Greiner advised the Committee that the'booklet waa,juat a starting place and;legal opinions will be added as time goes by. Chairman Btated he had received a request from Phillip Bonioit Water Divisiont for a non-job connected disability pension. The request was received with two doctors' opinions. (Dr. Albert Tawil and Dr. J. E. Manascalco). Committee will act on this request at the next meeting. , Election for new Committee members will be held on the 25th of June between 7:00 A.M. and 7:00 P.M. at the City Hall Annex. There will be a total of twelve people to help with the election. ,'Th~re being no other business) Charles Dunn moved the meeting be adjourned. Seconded by Claude Zukowski and motion carried.
