be formed to Te-write the Pension

one non-Union member.
Charles Dunn discussed feelings of empJ.oyees with disabilities. They are scared to
'process thei1: claim - they are made to feel that the City "is out to get me." One
employee asked for a copy of a doctor's report'and was refused - he had to go to
St. Petersburg to get a copy from the doctor., Pension booklet is not specific - does
not list rights 'of City and employees.
Charles Dunn, asked 'why employees have to wait 30-90 days to get their first pension
check (when on extended sick leave). He feels something should'be done to speed up this
process~ Carole Greiner. Payroll Services. stated it usually took 30 - 45 days.
',Mr.' ,Dunn ask~d if the employees could not be approved by the Connnission (subject to
no change~ ,b~fore their ex~ended sick leave expired.
