Chairman Zukowski called the meeting to order.
Jay Love moved the minutes of November 7, 1984 be approved with the correction of
spelling of City Nurse's name. Seconded by Charles Dunn, and motion carried.
Jay Love moved that the minutes of November 21~ 1984 be approved with the correction
of spelling of City Nurse's name. Seconded by Charles Dunn and motion carried.
Charles Dunn moved that the following employees be approved for
their having passed a comprehensive physical examination by the
pension based on

Chairman Zukowski stated as a point of discussion that the City Trustees took action
the last Trustees meeting to instruct management to look into giving a more comprehensive
physical examination. The Agenda item read as follows:
UThat the Trustees of the Employees' Pension Plan request the Pension Advisory Committee
to establish a formal process for the review of disability pension requests and to review
the nature of the physical examination current~y used for acceptance into the Pension Plan
and further that the Trustees authorize the City Manager or his designee to represent the
Trustees in the review of pension plan matters."
Jay Love asked how chat varies on certain Union contracts where they are allowed to go
to thei.r own doctor rather than an appointed doctor. IlOur contract (Fire) states we
do not have to go co the City doctor - we can go to our own doctor. Is this in conflict
with the contract or what?"
