Acting Chairman Xaminskas read letter from Sgt. Chester Cichowicz,
requesting regular retirement pension. His date of employment was
he is over 55 years of age. Jay Love moved that Sgt~ Cichowicz be
pension. Seconded by Ray ~minskas and motion carried.

Jay Love moved that the Committee approve request from John Flynn, Co~nunications
'Operator, Police Department, to vest his pension rights. Seconded by Ray Kaminskas and
motion carried.
Acting Chairman Kaminskas advised the Committee that a letter had been received from City
Attorney Tom Bustin, in response to PAC Chairman Zukowski's memo of January 9, 1984 to
the Legal Department. Mr. Bustin's letter reflected that the new employment (re-employ-
ment) of certain employees with deductions commenced for pension upon their new employment
without insisting onlla pension physical constituted a waiver of the requirement for such
physical.
