Zinnnerman, CWA Repre8~ntative Chairman Zukowski called meeting to order. Jay Love moved the Minutes of the meeting of March 7, 1984 be accepted. Seconded by Ray Kaminskas and motIon carried unanimously. " ',Committee considered request of Elmer Richa, Firefighter, for retirement under job connected disability pension. Ray Kaminskas moved that the Committee recommend to the Trustees that Mr. Richa be retired under job connected disability pension based on~t~ree doctors' letters'and the fact that they all concur with the accident aggrava- ting a possible pre-existing condition to the point where he is now disabled. Amount and date to be determined by Personnel and Finance. Seconded by Jay Love and motion' 'carried unanimously. : Chairman Zukowski attended the City Commission work session at the request of the Committee to request a 60 day extension on the pay-back plan. Trustees voted unanimously to turn down the request. Chairman recommended that the Committee direct Carole Greiner to proceed, 'using the 30 day limit as being the date for the cut-off. ,Committee discussed whether any of the unions were going to protest. Ray Kaminskas said,he thought the' FOP was proceeding with a lawyer. Steve Zimmerman stated that the CWA would probably not be doing anything but that he would address the matter in, the newsletter going out. Ray Kaminskas asked Steve Zimmerman to remind employees in the newsletter that there is an up-coming vacancy on the Pension Advisory Committee and that nominations are open until April 12. Forms have been distributed to all departments. Ray Kaminskas moved the meeting be adjourned since there was no other business. Seconded by Jay Love and motion carried.
