Committee considered request from Al Vellucci. Major, Police Department to change his
pension request form he originally submitted to Committee from non-job connected
disability to regular retirement. 'Ray Kaminskas moved that tbe Committee make a
recommendation to the City Commission that Al Vellucci be retired under regular retirement
under the 20 year hazardous duty,clause. date and amount to be determined by Personnel
and Finance. Seconded by Jay Love and motion carried.
Ray Kam1nskas moved that the following employees be approved for pension based on their
having passed a comprehensive physical examination by the City's physician and their
age being less than 45.

Charles Kolinsky,.John Nicholson, and Larry Dean, Firefighters, expressed their dissatis-
faction with the high interest being charged on the employee pay-back plan.
After a lengthy discussion, Jay Love moved that the Committee request the Trustees
, ,to extend the pay back date and give the Unions time to file in court. Seconded
',by Ray Kaminskasand' motion carried unanimously. Claude Zukowski, Chairman, will attend
" the work session. Jay Love also recommended that the Unions have a representative at
, the woxk session.
Claude'Zukowski asked Secretary Laursen to call MJ:;'. Bustin, City Attorney and ask what
happened to the legal opinion requested in January and also give him a list of names to
b,e added' to, the list..

Chaixman stated th~re would be a special meeting in two weeks (March 21) to act on this
proposal an~to review Elmer Richa's request for pension.
