April 6, 1983 meeting were approved with the correction of the spelling of Police
Officer Jerry Karlik's name. (He was in attendance at this meeting.)
Request for disability pension of Robert Hunter, Sanitation Workert was discussed.
Request included a signed Pension Request Form and a letter from Dr. Warren. Committee
recommended that (a) Mr. Hunter be referred to another psychiatrist (after Pension
Trustees consider granting authority' to PAC for needed follow-up evaluations) and
(b) 'a request be made to Dr. Warren that he state if the condition described relative
to Mr. Hunter is considered permanent and disabling.

have been received. Seconded by Claude Zukowski and motion carried.

relating to Mr. Noonan's job assignments had been prepared and would be sent to
Dr. Nach who has been selected to provide a medical evaluation of Mr. Noonan.

Chairman Kaminskas reported that the Pension Trustees had considered the allocation
of costs of the Meidinger Report and had officially accepted an 80% City - 20% Pension
division as being appropriate.

to a request of Curtean Whittert former Clerk Typist II in the Police Department, who
is currently receiving disability pension.

Committee discussed a concern for having more stringent pre-employment physicals.
The City Nurse was asked to assist the Pension Advisory Committee in writing up
proposals for such physicals. Mr. Laursen advised that, if added components to the
pre-employment physical resulted in added cost (the cost of the physicals are
currently paid for by the CitYt not by the Pension Fund)t it might be proposed that
the Perision Fund pick up a portion of the cost, at least for those eligible for
pension consideration. He further advised the Committee that he will seek authorization
from the City Manager to prepare a memo to go to all departments mandating that all
employees have their pre-employment physical before they start to work. There have
