Claude Zukowski moved ,that the Hinutes of the meeting of April 1, 1982 be approved with an amendment to reflect that Carole Greiner advised Committee that Allen Barber and his attorney were to meet with her, Mike Laursen. and Frank Kowalski regarding his retirement pension. Committee reviewed request of Margie Tapp, Accountant I for retirement under City Pension Plan. Claude Zukowski moved that Margie Tapp be recommended for regular , retirement under Section 2-48 of the Employees' Pension Plan, effective January 31, 1983. Seconded by Ray Kaminskas and motion passed. j~ .'\~ o ' ~~ " ~'~ Committee reviewed request of Police Sergeant George Morse for retirement under City Pension. Ray Kaminskas moved, Claude Zukowski seconded, and motion carried that George Morse be recommended for regular retirement benefits under Section 2-24 of the Employees' Pension Plan, effective March 21, 1983. ~ l' .'1' ,.,. ~ :"~ ~' Committee reviewed request of Arthur L. Whitney, Service Superintendent for retirement under City Pension. Claude Zukowski moved, Ray Kaminskas seconded, and motion carried that Arthur ~litney be recommended for regular retirement benefits under Section 2-48 of the Employees' Pension Plan effective May 31, 1983. . , , ,) Committee reviewed request of Hilton Holzhauer, Police Officer for job-related disability pension. Motion was made by Ray Kaminskas that Hilton Holzhauer be recommended for job-connected disability pension, date to be determined by Personnel Department computatidns(at the expiration of sick leave). Seconded by Claude Zukowski and motion carried. Carole Greiner reported en the nominations for two vacancies on the Pension Advisory Committee. Nominees are: Stanley Szuba, Jr., Jean Cesta, Miriam Braun. Terry Clements, and Ray Kaminskas. The election will be held in the City Clerk's office from 8:30 'A.M. to 4:30 P.M. on June 22, 1982 and is being administered by Cyndie Goudeau. ,Committee reviewed file regarding the issue of whether an employee (Craig Gieske) on disability pension can receive 15% supplement for a dependent child underl8years of age, when the child is not residing in his household. Committee expressed opinion tlu~,t the Pension OrdinAnce is cleat' as to this and thAt the supplement is not permissible. Chairman Kamillskas will prepare a letter directed to Tom Bustin indicating the position of the Pension Advisory Committee on this matter.
