Chai'l'mnn Betty Ward, Member ./ Department Representative: Carole Greiner Visitor: Fred Hasselman Chairman Kaminskas called meeting to order. , Betty Ward moved the Minutes of the meeting uf May 6. 1982 be approved with correction in paragraph regarding nominations to read two vacancies instead of two terms. Seconded by Ray Kaminskas and motion carried. Committee reviewed request of Joseph Miller. Irrigation Supervisor. Parks & Recreation Department, for retirement under Section 2-48 of the Employees' Pension Plan effective February 25, 1983. Ray Kaminskns moved ~hat Mr. Miller be approved for pension. Seconded by Betty Ward and motion carried. Betty Ward moved that the Pension Advisory Committee approve the job-connected disability pension for Charles Butler. The effective date of his pension is to be 'determined according to the computations made by the Personnel Department. Seconded by Ray Kaminskas and motion carried. ,Betty Ward moved that the following new employee be ~ccepted into the Pension Plan. A decision on the new money Chairman Kaminakas advised the Committee that Jessee ,Jackson, Public Service Division, ,had been approved for retirement in August. 1981 and at that time he did not retire. , Chairman Kaminskas moved that Jessee Jackson will have to re-apply to the Committee 'when he'decides to retire. Seconded by Betty Ward and motion carried. Committee discussed retirement booklet and feels that it should be completed as soon as possible. Next meeting is sSheduled for July 1, 1982 at 9:30 A.M.
