Betty Ward moved the minutes be approved with correction. (Dorothy Smith was contacted not "talked to" regarding her sick leave.) Seconded by Ray Kaminskas Bnd motion carried. Botty Ward moved that Kathleen Tait, Keypunch Operator, Utili ties Department, be approvod for pension. Ms. Tait has completed 20 years' service and meets the age requirement. The effective date of this pension is to be determined according to the computations made by the Personnel Department. Seconded by Ray Kaminskas and motion carried. Betty Ward, moved that the Pension Advisory Committee approve disability pension for Allen Barber, Sanitation Driver. The pension is to be effective June 8, 1980. This is in accordance with City Commission action taken as Trustees of the Employees' Pension Fund on April 13, 1981. Seconded by Ray Kaminskas and motion carried. Chairman Kaminskas is to write letter to Mr. Weimer,requesting that credit union monies taken from Allen BarberIs pension be returned to the City. Mr. Weimer will then 'take this matter up with Mr. Bustin, City Attorney. Betty Ward moved that Clara Mary Basnight, Cashier II, Utilities Department, be approved for pension. Mrs. Basnight has completed 20 years' service and meets the age requirement. The effective date of this pension is to be determined according to the computations made by the Personnel Department. Seconded by Ray Kaminskas and motion carried. ,Chairman requested that Dorothy Silianoff's denial of pension be again placed on City Commission Agenda. This matter WaS never denied or approved by the City Commission. Betty Ward moved that the Pension Advisory Committee approve pension for Wanda Castle, , widow of Wallace Castle, a City employee who passed away in April. Seconded by " Ray Kaminskas and motion carried. _', Co~ttee will review physical form for Mary McDonel at next Pension meeting. 'Carole Greiner gave Chairman Kaminskas suggested forms to be used in retirement packet. Chairman Kaminskas passed out check list forms covering different types of retirement. Betty Ward moved that the Pension Trustees accept the following employees who are under 45 years of age and have passed a comprehensive physical examination into the Pension Plan. Utilities Utilities - Service This motion to be in effect until the date of referendum implementing this program. The Pension Advisory Committee to review and make recommendations to the Trustees of the Pension Plan for disability pensions. Allows individuals to draw disability pensions. to be effective June 8, 1980, who have reached their maximum medical improvement date on or prior to June 8, 1980, at the option of the employee. This motion shall not prevent Section 26.44 of the Code of Ordinances from being applicable should any employee conwence receiving Workman's Compensation benefits.
