Present~ Ray Knminskaa, Chairman Betty Ward, Member Mike Laursen, Personnel Director Carole Greiner, Finance Department / Chairman KBminskBs called meeting to order. >. -<.. ...--.......-- "Betty Ward moved the minutes of October 2, 1980 be approved. Seconded by Ray Kaminskas and motion carried. Chairman advised Committee that William Vanderboogart has requested that he be given another physical. Chairman reported that Karen Wilson was accepted into the Employees' Pension Plan effective October 13, 1980 against the wishes of the Pension Advisory Committee. Chairman reported on legal opinion received from City Attorney regarding vested rights. If a person who has vested his pension dies before receiving pension, there is nothing in the pension law that addresses this situation. When and if this does happen, it will be necessary to take the matter to court to determine benefits due that person. Chairman Kaminskas moved that the Pension Trustees accept the following employees who are' 'under 45 years of age and have passed a comprehensive physical examination into the Pension Plan.
