Proceedings of the Pension Advisory Committee meeting held July 5) 1979.

Chairman Kaminskas called meeting to order.
Betty Ward moved the minutes of the meeting of June 7, 1979 be approved. Seconded by
Stan Szuba and motion carried unanimously.
Betty ward moved that the City Nurse contact Dr. Murphy to see if Gary Coata had been
re-examined by him and if not, he is to be re-examined at his own expense. Seconded
by Stan Szuba and motion carried.
Stan Szuba moved that Gregory Olson be accepted into pension based on approval from
Dr. Murpny. This is to be effective July 5, 1979. Seconded by Betty Ward and motion
carried.
Stan Szuba moved that Fred Bravo be accepted into pension based on re-examination and
approval by Dr. Murphy. Seconded by Betty Ward and motion carried (Effective 7-5-79).
A legal opinion was received from the City Attorney on the retirement status of
Daniel Davis and Robert Edgerton, Fire Department. They have both been contacted
and the opinion forwarded to them. Chairman Kaminskas stated that it was his under-
standing that both Davis and Edgerton planned to withdraw their requests for retirement
,to seek further litigation with the City.
Betty Ward moved that the Pension Trustees accept the following employees who are under
45.years of age and have passed a comprehensive phYSical examination into the Pension
Plan. Seconded by Stan Szuba and motion passed unanimously.
