Proceedings of the Pension Advtsory Committee meeting held June 7, 1979.

Chairman Kaminskas called meeting to order.
Stan Szuba moved the minutes of the meeting of May 3, 1979 be accepted. Seconded by
Betty Ward. Motion carried unanimously.
After discussion with Frederick Bravo regarding his pension physical, Betty Ward moved
that Joyce Bayer1e, City Nurse, set up an appointment for Mr. Bravo to be re-examined
at his own expense by Dr. Murphy. Seconded by Stan Szuba and motion carried.
StanSzubamoved that Greg~ry Olson be re-examined by the doctor at his own expense
and before that time have the City Nurse check his blood pressure. Seconded by
Betty Ward and motion carried unanimously.
Detty Ward moved that Major Ernest Wiche1ns be approved for retirement pension, the
effective date to be determined according to the computations made by the Personnel
Department. Seconded by Stanley Szuba and motion carried unanimously.
Stanley Szuba moved that Sergeant James Shaffer be approved for retirement pension,
the effective date to be determined according to the computations made by the Personnel
Department_ Seconded by Betty Ward and motion carried unanimously.
Betty Ward moved that Jimmie Lee Smith, Parks & Recreation Department he approved for
retirement pension, the effective date to be determined according to the computations
made by the Personnel Department. Seconded by Stan Szuba and motion carried unanimously.
Committee brought up matter of retirement pension on Robert Edgerton. Chairman will
I check with Legal Department as to status of Edgerton and Davis~
After reviewing Robert Marek's physical and the opinion of the Doctor, Stanley Szuba
moved that Robert Marek be accepted into the Pension Plan as of June 7, 1979. Seconded
by Betty Ward and motion carried unanimously.
Committee discussed Richard Thornton's pension and it was decided that Chairman will
set up meeting ,with Bustin, Weimer, and Butler to discuss the computation of
Mr. Thornton's pension and bring information to the next meeting.
Stanley Szuba moved that the Pension Trustees accept the following employees who are'
under,4~'~~~ of age and have passed a comprehensive physical examination into the
Pension Plan. Seconde~ by Betty Ward and motion passed unanimously.
