Chair Person Betty Ward called meeting to order.
Detective Kaminskas moved the minutes of the meeting of December 7, 1978 be approved.
Seconded by Lt. Brettel and motion carried.
Committee discussed request from Jeffey T. Gilbert to be reiostated into Pension
Plao. Committee voted unanimously to reinstate Mr. Gilbert into the Pension Plan
and he agreed to pay back money due the Pension Plan in a lump sum.
Detective Kaminskas moved, in the case of Jeffey T. Gilbert, that after the payment
of the pension monies, his seniority date be adjusted by the time he was gone.
Seconded by Lt. Brettel. Motion carried.
Eugene Hunt, Firefighter, appeared in person at the meeting with letters from medical
doctors submitted at his request for on-the-job disability pension. The Pension
Advisory Committee asked Mr. Hunt to write letter to Committee requesting disability
pension.
,The Pension Advisory Committee requested additional documents from Mr. Hunt and made
the'recommendation that he be retired for an on-the-job disability upon the proper
documents being given to the Chair Person and the effective date established, date
to be' established at termination of Workman's Compensation payments in compliance
with Section 2-58 of the Pension Plan.
Lt.'Brettel moved that Mr. Hunt be approved for disability peosion after the receipt
,of additional documents requested by committee. Seconded by Detective Kaminskas and
motion carri~d unanimously.
Detective Kaminskas moved that the Pension Trustees accept the following employees,
who, are under 45 years of age and have passed a comprehensive physical examination,
into the Pension Plan:

Department/Division
Central Services - Garage
Pension Advisory Conunittee'recommended that Gregory Green, Maintenance Worker I,
Traffic Engineering Department, not he accepted into the Pension Plan. Recommendation
is,based upon the report of the examining physician.
Detective Kaminskas moved meeting be adjourned. Seconded by Lt. Brettel. Motion
