Proceedings of the Pension Advisory Committee Meeting held March 3, 1976.

Meeting commeoced at 9:00 A.M. in the office of the Personnel Director.
Director advised members that the City Manager had responded that the Pension Advisory
Committee could meet with the City Commission on March 15, 1976 at a work session.
The Pension Advisory Committee reviewed the physical examination forms for those
employees listed below in order to determine their recommendations to the Pension
Trustees. After review of the forms, it was their recommendation that the following
employees be accepted into the Pensioo Plan:
Charlie Campbell
Larry Courson
Leon Davis
Paul Cherry
Earl Fritts
Merle Bishop
Marian Goodman
Benjamin Brown
The Pension Advisory Committee asked Director to write to Mr. James R. McGee, advising
him that the Pension Advisory Committee will not consider him for pension until he
. sees his family doctor about his sugar level; also similar letters to Randolph Jensen
regarding Sigmoidoscopy exam and Thomas Grow regarding seeing Dr. Barrett about his
left knee.
Director provided biopsy report submitted by John Greiner-as previously requested.
After review of. the report, Mr. Greiner was recommended for inclusion in the Pension
Plan.
,Pension Advisory Committee considered and approved request of Joseph C. Beck for
retiremeot pension based on his application (Under Section 5). Date of retirement
to be March 6, 1976.
Director asked the Pension Advisory Committee, on behalf of Ralph Derek (Employee
in the Public Service Department), what effect a five months' absence on sick leave
without pay would have on his pension. Member Kaminskas advised that the Pension
Law specified absence of more than four months did not count for Pension. Pension
Advisory Committee requested that Director advise Mr. Derek that, to receive credit
for the five months he was out, he would have to pay the amount he would have paid had
he been on active payroll status during that time.
Pension Advisory Committee requested that the Director have a stamp made as shown
