Meeting commenced at 10:30 A.M. in the Office of the Personnel Director at City Hall
Annex.
The Advisory Committee reviewed the physical examination forms for those employees
listed below in order to determine their recommendations to the Trustees of the Pension
Plan. After review of the forms, the Committee recommended that these employees be
accepted into the Pension Plan:
Theopo1is P. Wynn
Monty Stoner
Donald R. Naughton
Zane G. Cecil
Rick Willard
Magg Lee Clark
John B. Tucker
Walter J. Blanks
Erthine Raynor
John C. Dean
Committee members discussed the medical data available on Russ Riendeau and recommended
that he have a physical examination by Dr. Hagan before returning to work.
Committee requested that the Personnel Director draft a letter to Kathy Terlaak,
Police Officer, advising her that, in accordance with current pension law, the five
years (approximate) time she served as a Clerk Typist does not count toward 20-year
Police Officer hazardous duty retirement, but it will count in determining the amount
of her pension when she does retire. The Committee also requested that the Personnel
Director draft a similar letter to David Beckman, Police Officer, advising him that
Police Cadet:' time is not counted for 20-year hazardous duty retirement. (Both letters
result from information given the Committee in a meeting with Guy Kennedy, Asst.
City Attorney on 2-l2-75.)
The Committee also asked that a letter be drafted to notify Michael Beachler, Rodman
in the Public Works Department that he would' be removed from the pension plan
because of part-time status until such time as he again became full time. (This
action results' from Committee discussion with Guy Kennedy, Asst. City Attorney
00 2-12-75.)
