The meeting was called to order by Chairman Haeseker at 10:08 a. m.
Minutes of October 27, 1984 were approved as corrected.
1. Travel Trailer Park - West side of Bayview, approximately 500 ft. north
of S. R. 60. Representatives: Merle Amic - Kami Targal, C. A. Peterson,
Inc. - Donald o. McParland, Attorney.
Revised Final site Plan - Continued from October 13, 1983
Fire Department - Advised two additional fi~e hydrants were required and
indicated on site plan location of two added hydrants.

be met and details will be on developers final construction plans.

Parks & Recreation - commented that there is no mention of open space
~~dication ~nd this should be addressed in CIS. Mr. Wilson explained
what is required 'for open space assessment. and gave Mr. Halsema a work-
sheet showing information required. See attachment #6.

Planning - Plan indicates 40 ft. right of way. city only requires ease-
ment for 40 ft. ROWand plan should so ,indicate.
Traffic Engineering - Advised clear distance on driveways must be 24 ft.
Also question' number of handicap spaces indicated - only three required.
Suggested parking-spaces could be modified and three eliminated and use
gained space as landscaped area.
Utilities Department - Claude Howell distributed comments from Utilities
Department. See attachment #4. Indicated on site plan suggested
location of dumpsters.
Public Works - comments on Attachment #5. Mr. Beachler stated that while
18" storm sewer beneath the building is not prohibited by code, he considered
this to be poor engineering and would not recommend it. Commenting' on
the finished floor elevation, Mr. Beachler advised that the City Engineer
does have the authority to waive this requirement if it can'be shown that
there would be no problem in keeping water out of the building. However,
that would have to be approved by the City Engineer.
