Due to absonce of Traffic Engineer, Mrs. Haeseker suggested getting the
Traffic Department's approval as well.
C. M. Henderson - comments from Public Works attached. ?roJect will be
served by Clearwater East plant, presently under moratorium. ProJect
in flood hazard area; buildings should be designed accordingly. Water
line should be looped rather than the blow~orr as shown. Drainage Bwale

Claude Howell, Utility Department. Concurs with comments already made
regarding security gates and access to area by' sanitation department
trucks. Also confirmed Public Works stipulation that water line be
looped. Clarified ownership of this' property. Under new ownership and
'no longer owned by Sunfish Bay developer.
Marshal Buhmeyer- wants location of fire hydrants shown on plan. Second
'fire hydrant should be closer to access road, with no obstructions within
four feet of hydrant. Mr. Howell stated Utility Department would like
hydrant located just within right-or-way so water department will have
free access.
John Peddy - No comments.

Prior to formal review, Mr. Henderson stated that construction
plans for this project -~g-~i~-~1T the Engineering Department
concurrently with this review by the R. D. C. Committee. This is an
irregular and dangerous procedure and Mr. Tripp will investigate the
matter in the BUilding Department and report to Mrs'. Haeseker.
Paula Harvey - mentioned subdivision plat and plan have been combined on
one sheet. Five foot landscaped strip must be provided between the road
right-or-way and where parking area begins. Provision has been made for
full square footage of loading spaces but part of this is indicated as
access space which will have to be changed. Railroad ties being used as
curbing should be approved by Engineering Department. Separate plat
plan will have to be submitted and signed by each member of R.D.C. Com-
mittee prior to submission to Planning Department and City Commission.
W. E. Tripp - sidewalks are not shown and these will have to be provided
in accordance with City regulations and must be shown on final plan. A
suggested location for sidewalks would be inside of the existing property,
about 10 feet off the face of the railroad tie curbing.
C. M. Henderson - Public Works. Comments attached. Northeast Treatment
plant serves this area and capacity adequate. Drainage design is acceptable
: 'as shown. Would like documentation on 40 ft. Right-of-way easement at the
:<:: ~' time the building permit is applied for. Detention area design is satis-
< (J) factory. Detail on plan shows interior baffle wall in the outlet structure,
'> 'with a 6" line going through it. This should be raised 6" off the tottom
, 'of the structure so that the initial water entering drainage retention
area will soak into the ground. Land Resource section would like square
footage of asphalt shown on the plans so can check for the 4% of interior
green space required. Also would like more shade trees.

Cl~ude Howell - Utility Department. Dumpster location satisfactory but
should be realigned so trucks can move straight back to it. Will require
final approval from Sanitation department. Would like a tap and then a
6" line running back for the sprinkler system. The 2" meter should be
set on the righ~of-way and should bt two stralght parallel lines enter-
ing property and all angles and "T'ts" eliminated. Since gas will serve
this project, owner should check with gas company to ascertain place-
ment of gas line.
Marshal Buhmeyer- will reserve comments until he receives final construction
plans. Agrees with comments made 'by Utility Department regarding meter
location and 2" line for sprinkler system.
John Peddy - no comments.
Rearn Wilson - no comments.
. Mrs. Haeseker advised no comments from Traffic Engineering Department.
