is not enough wldt h. The setback from the edge of the pavement to the
uni ts Is 20 feet, whi ch waul d not leave room for parki ng in front of the

Don Meed ans indi cat ed that the int ernal road had to be a ffilnlmum of
24 feet in wldt h, incl udi ng the port ion whi ch connect s int 0 the ex! at i ng
roadway. There should be a minimum of 50 feet between the curb line
of Herclues Avenue (wide portion where turn lane comes in) and the area
of thei l' connection. The connection that appeared to be 10 or 12 feet wide
should be a minimum of 24 feet also. Mr. Meeriana did not receive a
re'pl y to hi s query as to whet her there waul d be a1 dewa! ks in front of the
un! ts. Also, parki ng on adj acent . Sunset Grove is bei ng taken fa r the new
uni ts. Mrs. McClellan said the parking had been int ended for Villas of

U. S. Home was exempt from the Development of Regi anal Impact (DRI)

upset limit of commercial office use was part of U.S. Hamel s agree...
ment with The Lane Company, and is included in the CIS. U. S. Home
had sai d, in esserlce, that The Lane Company would be limited to
100,000 square feet of commercial use. The Lane Company proposes
to. have the bank and rest au rant uses separat e from comme :rei a I zonl ng.
If the City \\ere to agree with that dl st inct ion, the proposed arrangement
of the development would be satisfactory; if not the bank and restaurant
would have to be included in the 100,000 square feet of commercial zoning.

and as a resul t, the project waul d be opened up more. He also, was
concerned about th.e large amount of parki ng. When the developer comes
in for tree removal permits, some parki ng spaces waul d be del at ed.

just. north of the front retention pond, and one between the 29,400 square
