to zone this property from RM..54 to RM-12 ond as-50 and, in lieu thercof~ to rezono

district standards. Motion was seconded by Mr. Kruse nnd carried unanimously. The
Boord cxprcssod a deaire to hove n yacht club located on subject tract (following
proper Board of Adjustment and Appeal application and approval) but it could not
accept the proposed higher density covenant which was inconsistent with present usage
· and future zoning patterns established for similarly situated properties in the
N. Osceola area of study. A preliminary plan exhibited at the first meeting showed
marina and clubl10use parking arrangements. Higher density of RM-24 covenant proposed
by the Yacht Club recognized resale value of the property should BAA and county/state
agencies I permits for the marino usage not materialize.

the above request. Vice Chairman Reade assumed the chair. Motion was made by
Mr: Cummings~ seconded by Mrs. Evers, to recommend denial of the above request and)
in lieu thereof, recommend RM-16 in accordance with the City's agreement to go with
a higher density rating in 'the area. Zoning recommended would be ~ubstantially in
confonnance with present usage and within the maximum permitted on the City and County
Comprehensive Plans. '
