Motion was made by Mr. Reade, seconded by Mr. Butler, to recommend approval ofabove

intent of the Comprehensive Plan. Usage (transitional) generates minimal traffic;
parking area in, existence., beautified bu ffering residential use.

Planning, Director reviewed the updating of Comprehensive Plan. Motion was made by
Mr.. Butler, seconded by Mr. R~ade, to recommend approval ccmcern:l.ng the Comprehensive
Plan thattlu east one-third of the service areus be adjusted in accordance with p17escnt
usage and in accord with the Shoreline Management Report. Motion carried unanimously.
Motion was made by Mr. Butler, seconded by Mr. Reade, to recommend implementation of
updating of the Moster Plan, per the Shoreline Hanagement },)lan, and that the bulkhead
lines on Tampa Bay presently existing be rescinded. Motion carried unanimously.
Motion was made by Hr. Butler, seconded by Mr. McCants, that the present bulkhead lines
on the east and west side of Sand Key be rescinded, with the further recommendation that
the 'City Commission establish new bulkhead lines at the mean high water level. Motion
carried unanimously.

Planning Director reviewed status of Aquatic Land zone, staff recommendations a~d the
fact that a public hearing will be ~eld August 7, 1973.

Concerning rezoning for Monteray Company, i. e., east side of N. Missouri Avenue, 150 ft.
north of SAL railroad, motion was made by Mr. Reade, seconded by Mr. McCants, to reaffirm
the action, of July 3, 1973 ~f denial of CG, ..General Business, of the motion and recom-
mend retaining the property as RS 50, Single Family. If the City Commissiqn interprets
ISP, Institutional Semi-Public uses as in conflict with residential dcvelQpment, the Board
would be of record willing to amend the Comprehensive Plan to show this area as low density
residential. ~otion carried unanimously.
